Company History

With 21 community stores operated by Lawrence Hunt & Co Ltd a Lancashire based four generation family owned business.

The first store, in Walmer Bridge, was opened by my grandfather, Jack Hunt, in 1946. We are now proud to serve 21 local communities in our stores throughout the North West.

Supported by the generosity of our customers and the donations and efforts of our staff we have been able to help many local charities and organisations throughout the region.
